Michael McCullough is an Environmental Planner with twenty-five years of experience with environmental issues. Michael began his career as a planner with an engineering consulting firm, followed by twenty-three years working as an environmental planner and an environmental engineer with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA). Eleven of those years with Ohio EPA were spent in solid waste management, providing assistance in developing Ohio’s State Solid Waste Management Plan, reviewing local solid waste management plans, and assisting local solid waste districts to implement their plans. He also worked for twelve years in the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program at Ohio EPA where he reviewed and wrote NPDES permits, assisted in the development of Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) projects, and developed a number of Excel applications to facilitate waste load stream modeling.
Michael received his Masters Degree in Agricultural Economics from The Ohio State University, with a research focus on solid waste management.
